Pinot Noir
MADE OF RHODT dry
The Pinot Noir shows structure, strength and the individuality of the Rhodt sites. Picked by hand and spontaneously fermented in wooden barrels. Small berry clones add complexity.
Origin: From the Rosengarten, Schlossberg and Klosterpfad sites, grown on clay, limestone and loess-clay soil
Aging: spontaneous fermentation on the skins with partially whole grapes, 14-18 days of maceration, 12-14 months in small oak barrels
Description of the wine: cool raspberry and cassis fruit, elegantly integrated acidity, dense and complex on the finish
Other wine recommendations: Pinot Noir Rosengarten , Cabernet Cuvée Loess-Lehm
